My kids really did have Valentine's Day. Jaxon is obsessed with sharks. Really obsessed. So we got him a shark book and some shark toys. He was stoked.

Emmer got some Veggie Tales books and a little school bus with people. Fisher Price has the cutest little toys at Wal-Mart. Anyway, my kids would rather read all day than do anything, so they were excited.

This is Emory sharing with Brylee. She loves her. I really thought Em would hate all babies, but whenever Brylee is not here she talks about her nonstop. So she shared Grumpy Bear with her. Awwwwww.....

This is my favorite. Aubrie and Nate came over on Friday night after the terribly important church basketball game, and we put the kids down so we could play games. This is all three kids in their pajamas brushing their teeth. It's so cute when they're all together. I love Daxton. He is my little buddy. I just wish Aubrie would let me watch him more.

Brylee's Blessing

Steve and Angie decided to bless Brylee today. They don't really have a ward they are comfortable in, so they just decided to do it at Steve's parents church instead of the traditional sacrament meeting. It was really so so nice and Steve gave Brylee an awesome blessing. All of my siblings were there, minus Mitch of course.

Here's the whole clan:

Here's my with all my sisters, and my aunt Amy who is much more like a sister than an aunt. Angie and Steve live with her right now while he gets his business up and going, and they are so good to them. I love having lots of sisters. It's so fun.

Here's the cute little family. Brylee just wanted to eat her dress all day. Angie's a babe, and yes, we all know Steve looks like Chad. The funny thing is that Mitch's girlfriend looks just like Angie. I think my siblings are creepy.

My cute dad with the baby. This is how my dad always looks when he has his grandkids. My kids have the best grandparents, even though they don't have one "traditional" full set. They spoil our kids so much, but it's so fun to watch.

This is pretty much how Emory's looked all day. I've just about run out of patience. Only one hour and eighteen minutes until bedtime. Think I can make it?

First Skiing Adventure

Travis took Jaxon skiing for the first time tonight. I was really worried because Jaxon is kind of my little wimp. Emory will try anything, but Jax is a little more apprehensive. I figured it was a good thing with Trav, because I give in the first time he says he's too scared to try something. Perhaps that's his problem. Anyway, he got to go with his buddy Kyler and Kyler's dad Rocky, and they had a blast. I was so proud. My little boy is growing up so fast. Where does the time go? Every day is something new and fun, but a little sad because I can't get any of it back.

The bottom one is my favorite. Where did he get that face?

Once again, I noticed in my pictures how ugly my hair is. So, just so everyone knows, I'm not that ugly now. I got my hair done the day after. And I got my eyebrows waxed.

Happy Birthday to Me!

It was my birthday on the 13th, and it turned out pretty well despite some obnoxious things. I started the day by meeting my Grandma, sister, mother in law and cousins at McDonald's in Bountiful. The sacrifices we make when we have kids. Then, on the way home, there was a huge blizzard. And it took me two hours to get home. And Emory screamed. And I wanted to jump out of the car and walk home. So I was in a really bad mood. But here are some pictures of happier times.

Here's me and Em. She's such a little stink.

Me and Brylee. Does anyone else think I look stoned?

Here's me and my grandpa. This one is special because we share a birthday, and have never been apart on our birthday. One year he was serving a mission in Nauvoo, and they flew me out there. Another year he was on a mission in Vermont, and they came home three weeks early to be with me. And another year they were on a mission in Toronto, and they flew me out there. I think I'm spoiled. My grandpa is one of the most amazing men in the world. This is no one on this earth with a sweeter heart. I remember when I was little and every year he would take me to the drive up flower shop and buy me a carnation. I have some of the best memories with him. I love him so much and I hope he's around for about fifty more birthdays together.

Here's me blowing out all 27 candles!!! Isn't that an attractive picture?

Here's the party. My mother in law Chris, my brother in law Jamey, Jaxon, me holding Emory upside down and threatening to push her down the disposal, and Travis taking the picture. Awesome.
I had a good day. It started out good, got really crappy, and ended really good. I forget that I have a husband who can make me laugh and feel good even when I'm in the worst mood. He is awesome. I got lots of gift cards, money, a cute anklet and toe ring from Jaxon, some Snickers candy bars from Emory (what?), a balloon flower from Trav, a jewelry box and a cute bracelet from my mom, some necklaces from my sister, some shirts from my other sister, blah blah blah, nobody cares. Except me. I'm going shopping with all this money.

Sunday Dress

When Jaxon came walking down the hall dressed in a white shirt and tie today, I flashed forward about eight years and thought of him passing the sacrament and I about passed out. Time goes by way too fast. He's such a cute happy boy.

Ignore the hair in her face and the chocolate on her shirt. She's still pretty cute.
Notice the TV in the background. Don't worry, Trav only plays about six hours of Final Fantasy a day. But now he's figured out how to make it get points by itself, so we just leave it on all the time so his guys can get tougher. He's definitely the coolest lab/Nintendo nerd I know.
Always got to have one with a goofy grin.
I guess I just needed to document that my kids don't always look white trash. Although Emory is dirty, she did start the day off real clean and cute. I do what I can.

Mellow Saturday

This is my husband. He's a babe, even when he's spaced out. He also is the nicest guy in the whole entire world and is so so good to me. And he's really smart. And he's really funny. Maybe I'll start writing down the funny things he says like I do for Jax. I think I got myself a real catch.

Cute boy playing basketball.
Not a good picture, but I like this cause it shows how much my kids love my dad. They don't leave him alone when he's here. He will sit on the floor with them and role play and read books and play memory for hours with no end to his patience. Except here he looks really tired.

This is what has been happening at our house the last few weeks. Look at all that snow! I love Utah, and I love Utah winters, and I really don't mind driving in the snow, but I'm about done with it this year. It's fun while it's coming down, but after that I just want it to melt. Poor Travis has to shovel six thousand pounds of snow every time it snows.

My Cute Niece

Isn't she cute? I love her fat cheeks. She's such a sweetie. I think she looks just like Angie.
